Supply Chain Optimization Through Cross-Border Collaboration
Project Objective:
Providing a comprehensive solution for the management of expanded polystyrene (EPS) waste (code 17 06 03) by connecting German suppliers with certified processors in Poland and Romania. Note: This waste may contain certain hazardous components (e.g., asbestos), depending on its source. In response to growing client demand, we are currently seeking:
Suppliers of waste code 17 06 03 from Germany – companies with regular volumes of this material.
New recipients within the EU – entities holding permits for EPS processing/recycling, preferably with their own collection and transportation facilities.
Key Requirements:
Recipients should be prepared to implement the R1 recovery process (ideal solution due to the waste’s nature).
Mandatory: Notifications are required as the waste is located in Germany.
Why This Project?
Growing Market Needs: Clients in Germany report increased EPS waste volumes requiring efficient disposal.
Expanding Processing Capacities: Poland and Romania offer growing capabilities thanks to investments in eco-friendly technologies.
Closed-Loop System: Every new German supplier necessitates expanding the recipient network – and vice versa. We act bidirectionally to ensure supply chain balance.
Benefits for Suppliers (Germany):
✔️ Guaranteed Waste Disposal – no storage risks.
✔️ Competitive Rates through collaboration with multiple partners in Poland and Romania.
✔️ Full EU Compliance – documentation and process audits.
Benefits for Recipients (EU, mainly Poland, Romania):
✔️ Steady Supply of Raw Material – ensuring production/recycling continuity.
✔️ Logistics Cost Optimization – leveraging established transport channels.
✔️ Certification Support – assistance in meeting local and EU requirements.
Our Role:
Mediation with Local Expertise:
In Germany: Building relationships with manufacturers and warehouses generating waste.
In Poland and Romania: Verifying recipients’ processing capacities and compliance.
